No, we aren't talking about the rumors that are popping up all over the place about a deal being struck and a season starting on time (we said this about a month and a half ago, nice for everyone to catch up). Nope. That's old news... In more recent news, Stan Fischler has finally done it. We saw it coming months ago, but it is now official. Stan Fischler, Mr Owners ass kisser himself, has finally lost ALL credibility. In his most recent article (here at MSG.com) Stan "The Maven" Fischler cites EKLUND (look for our special interview with him from back in March) as a source for his information. YES the tool from from "Eklunds hockey rumor Blog"... Fucking EKLUND!!!!!

Eklund is seen going nuts, when he finds out he was mentioned by his idol Stan Fischler.

While we (the pros) here at Badseedsnewsrumorsandalloutbullshit are not surprised by Stan Fischlers lack of credibility, we are disappointed that he hasn't decided to stop living a lie, and come work with us. Its well known fact that Stan was supposed to come work for us during the lock-out. Now, here he is citing our competition (ha, if that's what you want to call Eklund) in his widely publicized articles ? Its sad how dishonest this business has become. The people who lie, fabricate, and totally make things up get rewarded, while the truth seekers and truth tellers such as us here at Badseedsnewsrumorsandalloutbullshit get no recognition.

Pfffft, as if we'd tell you.. Im willing to bet that in some time late May, this will start to be the new rumor. You'll hear about how the NHL is rehiring its people and how a deal may soon be reached with the season starting on time in October. You just wait and see. I also have "regular contributors" who land such interviews with these "players, agents and NHL employees".

Mr Eklund: Like I said I don't lie. I have connections. I've been right-- NEVER, and I am not responsible for the rumors I post, because they don't come from me. Just a reliable source... So I am not a liar. Its not my fault that my made up, fake sources, are never right, and my fake interviews with fake imaginary "anonymous", "players, agents and NHL employees" are totally fictitious, untrue, and dare I say... BULLSHIT...

"Ilikepizza" asks: Are you really Pelle Eklund? And if so, why are you located in the US? You were born in Sweden you ass... If you aren't, who the hell would want to use Pelle Eklund as their alias? You're a fucking loser dude..

Mr Eklund: Yes. Yes I am Pelle Eklund. Want proof? Here it is.

I was an eighth-round draft pick of the Philadelphia Flyers, 161st overall, in the 1983 NHL Entry Draft. I grew up in Sweden and played with my country's national team before moving to North America in 1985. It's quite likely I went so low in the draft because teams were uncertain if I would leave my native country to play hockey.
In my rookie NHL season in 1985-86, I played in 70 games, scoring 66 points, including 15 goals. The following year the Flyers advanced all the way to the Stanley Cup finals but were defeated in a tough seven-game series by Wayne Gretzky and the Edmonton Oilers.
I played in at least 70 games in each of my first six years in Philadelphia, while playing in at least 50 games during my last two full seasons with the Flyers. Midway through the 1993-94 season, I was dealt to the Dallas Stars where I played five games.
That marked the end of Eklund's NHL career. I chose to return to my own country to play for Leksands IF of the Swedish Elite league. I played five years with the team before retiring from professional hockey in the spring of 1999 at the age of 36.

Now that's proof that I am truly Pelle Eklund, and in no way took this piece of information from Legendsofhockey.com and changed these writings to make it sound as if I were telling you this information. I wouldn't do that. I don't lie. I just report information from reliable sources.

Almost there. Some honest reporting..

Well it sounds like they are doing what they said would never be done. They may have a deal sometime on Wednesday. Gary Bettman will get the salary cap that he totally wasnt asking for from the start of negotiations. Goodenow will give him that cap that he said the players would NEVER accept. Folks, we may have some hockey soon.

Know what that means? RUMORS! With the cap and the possibility that a bunch of teams will have to get under the cap, this means there will be some movement of some of the bigger names in the game. Mostly the older expendable ones like the John LeClairs and such.

Some teams will have a ton of room under what will likely be around a $45 million cap. With decent players being available at discout red tag prices, this could bring promise to some of the bottom feeder teams. Teams like the Rangers saw this coming. By dumping most of their big name or overpriced "talent" at last years trade deadline, they cleared room to aquire a Keith Tkachuk, Doug Weight, John LeClair (or any other need at a bargain trade price), after the CBA was solved and the league got its cap. Teams like the Penguins and Panthers may benefit from this also, as they too can get such players that would have never came to their team before this cap situation. Players will run out of choices to get their money from. Players will now HAVE TO sign with the lower echelon teams, simply because no other team can afford them. This could help the league. It spreads the talent around a lil more.

Sure, it'd be better if the league contracted first, so players would not only run out of choices, but also be forced to take LESS money, as their worth would drop down a bit. Less teams would be willing to over-pay for that mid range free agent. They'd have to take less money and go to what ever team would take them. It would make good teams great and ok teams better. With the system that is coming in, it will be less great teams, and more mediocre teams. The entire NHL product will suffer. Less talented players will get more ice-time simply because teams will have to fill rosters within the payroll allowance. Teams like Colorado wont be super teams anymore. Teams like Toronto wont be as deep. But the Caps will have a 2nd line center playing on the first line!!! YAY! How this will help the NHL... i dont know. But atleast they are possibly gonna play.

Breaking News...

An NHL official who wishes to remain anonymous has told us here at Badseedsnewsrumorsandalloutbullshit, that talks are heating up again. "A special power seems to have forced us and the union together. Its indescribable."

When asked if he could comment on the issues that were to be discussed in what seems to be THE last effort to save the 2005 NHL season, the official declined to answer, only stating "We want our free money". In other words, the NHL still wants its cap. Well not a cap, because as we all know Gary Bettman has insisted since day one, that he is NOT asking for a cap, just cost certainty. I mean its not like every insulting offer the NHL has made to the players association has included a cap or anything. No, not at all. Just cost certainty, NOT A CAP. No 32 million dollar cap or anything like that. None.

When asked about his ideas on what could be done by both sides to resolve this lock-out, Stan Fischler would not return our phone calls. But we know he'd just say something pro owner and anti player, then quote some ideas by well known hockey people. A person familiar with the situation of how retarded Stan Fischler is, says "The man may soon go to work for Badseedsnewsrumorsandalloutbullshit, because he is fucking useless". Another person who wishes to remain un-named, who is close to the situation that the other guy is familiar with, says "They'd never hire Stan. He's not qualified enough." We'll keep an eye on this situation for you all though.

Scott Nichol watch....

Well you've been asking for it, and we've brought it back for you. A long time ago, Badseedsnewsrumorsandalloutbullshit, brought you a special feature on the worlds favorite hockey player Scott Nichol. Well we are sorry to report to you that Scott hasn't taken a dump (on the road) all month. Since signing with the London Racers of the Elite Ice Hockey League of the UK, poor Scott has been gun shy about taking dumps. This isn't to say he hasn't dropped a deuce in his hotel room, just that he hasn't gone in the arena or in any public rest-room. We miss following him around and reporting to all his loyal fans, about how often, how stinky, and how big Scotts doodies were.

Its official!

Nope. Sorry, there isn't any news on the NHL lock-out as of yet. But its official. Its been official for some time now. Hockey writer Stan Fischler is retarded. This man has continuously gone off on the NHLPA during the lock-out. The man has become so one sided and blind about the whole situation, that his columns have become MORE ridiculous. He calls his stuff news? Shit, this site could win awards if HIS stuff is "news".

This old fool simply has nothing of relevance to say. When your articles are nothing but a collaboration of three sentence paragraphs, you obviously have no talent. When the lock-out started Stan felt the need to raise the point that the lowest paid NHLer makes more than the Prime Minister of Canada. Meanwhile, I'm willing to bet that hockey writer Stan Fischler himself makes more than the PM of Canada. That was just the start of this "mans" nonstop trashing of the players, both individually, and as a whole.

Notice that most other employees of MSG/Fox Sports NY network don't seem to be commenting much on this issue, and if they do, they don't let it fly. JD isn't going to say much in favor of either side, simply because he's respected through-out the hockey community, and he doesn't want to burn any bridges. Good for him. He wants to keep his credibility. Same with Sam Rosen, Howie Rose, Matt Loughlin, Joe Micheletti, Chico Resch, Mike Crispino, the awful Al Trautwig, and even Deb Kaufman.

These employees still have a future in journalism and don't have to be outrageous in their opinions and writings. They may speak their opinion here and there on this issue, but you KNOW its honest, and they will always state that its their opinion and not fact. Then theres the washed up hack that is Stan Fischler. A "man" who constantly makes a fool of himself on television and with every word he puts into the garbage he calls a column. Don't forget, HE (along with the others I mentioned) is still getting paid in this lock-out. Stans integrity goes out the window. He's getting paid by the owners. So what ever this corporate shills opinion is, is only intensified so he can keep his job.. Think we'd hear much from Stan on this issue if he were on the players side? Think the owners would like him? Think his old ass could find a job elsewhere if let go? Not likely. So what better way is there to look good for the bosses than to go over the top in trashing the bosses opposition in the media? Not many options.


This writer cant wait for the season to start again, not only to see hockey again, but to see assholes like Stan Fischler get the cold shoulder from the players. Lets see what his top stories will be in the future. As unprofessional as it may be to say "Fuck you Stan, you are a joke", it cant be much worse than Stans owners ass kissing ways of trashing the NHLPA. So with that in mind.

So, I was taking a dump the other day. Guess what I found out? The players have already given in to the owners. Despite the fact that the two sides havent met in months, and have a set meeting for the 9th of December, in which it is rumored the players have a new revamped offer to propose to the stubborn Cap hungry owners.... But Im tellin ya, its over and the season will start soon.

Sources? Well, like I said, I was taking a dump at the time. Now, I THINK I heard a the voice of a man through my plumbing (NO, not MY plumbing you assholes)..... Most likely the sink. I heard my neighbor Billy the janitor say that he found a special piece of paper. Now, this janitor works at a junior highschool up the street, but he likes hockey a hell of a lot. From what I could hear, the paper in question was a folded up piece of paper with the words "Dear Bobby, Will you? Check one, Yes ...No" There was a blue check mark next to Yes.

This is absloute proof that the players are set to cave in. Earlier I mentioned that I THINK I heard a real live voice. Maybe I didnt, and maybe I was having one of those special moments while on the bowl. But this IS gonna happen folks. Who are ya gonna trust? We've proven to be the best there is, countless amounts of times. Are you gonna doubt us now? Pffft, you'd have to be a fool...

No we arent talking about a Ron Hextal cheap-shot slash. We had EVERY SINGLE TRADE DEADLINE MOVE, the day before the deadline. It seems that our competition was able to mess with out high tech computers here at the news center. Somehow we were unable to sign in and post what our incredible sources had for us and you. Honestly. Also, we were falsely accused of many crimes over this whole period of time. Crimes that were totally outrageous. Crimes such as fraud, embezzlement, murder, invasion of privacy, driving without proof of insurance, and the worst of all... LYING. Imagine that? All this during the biggest days of the year for us!!! The police came to our news center and arrested us on site.

Imagine us lying to anyone? Or doing any of that stuff? Why would we do such things? We're good honest people with REAL sources here.

So, in other news, we are hearing alot of stuff about Denis Gauthier possibly being in the Rangers sites. We can confirm that this is false and that Gauthier will be headed to Washington for Anson Carter, since Calagry just wants to get rid of the future hall of famer, in a move to strengthen their forward line to go into the play-offs.


Unless the Rangers offer up Kovalev for Gauthier we dont see him as NY bound. As we all know Calgary has wanted to dump the amazing talent that is Gauthier for some strange reason, and theyve ALWAYS wanted Anson Carter. Gauthier is amazing..... Just look at that picture. Hes burning through it.

There has been rumors coming from a Brazilian radio station, that there are a bunch of goalies available, and that there may be one traded by the deadline. Dont believe me? You just wait and see. I'll show you! Also said to be a hot HOT HOT rumor is that Bondra will be going to the Lightning, in an effort to keep him away from the Sens and Leafs and Devils and every team out there. All these teams need to score goals. If they dont score goals they wont win. Dont you watch hockey? Dont you know that stats are everything? Imagine all the stats the Lightning would have if they got Bondra.

Well its about time we looked around the league and told you folks what is up with the other teams. Im sure all of the readers from around the globe are tired of reading about the NY Rangers. Since we here at Badseedsnewsrumorsandalloutbullshit have maaaad conections around the league, we have to share what we have for you.

Today we will start with the EAST, here we go.....

Eastern Conference

Atlanta Thrashers: These guys are gonna make a trade one day.

Boston Bruins: Although our source says nothing big is going down in Beantown, you never know, something may happen some time this season...

Buffalo Sabres: Its highly rumored on some message board that Buffalo is looking to make some trades. We havent been able to confirm just who yet.

Carolina Hurricanes: Two words.... Ron Francis. Two more words....... We think... Two more words....... he should...... Two more words....... be on.... Two more words....... the block.
Three more words... Cat, Dog, Poopy.

Florida Panthers: After Mike Keenan killed three players and being arrested for the murders, the Panthers are gonna stay pat with their 20 year olds and never EVER add any kind of veteran players to guide, and help lead this team out of the basement. That would be just wrong and stupid if they were to bring in some legit NHL talent. Stupid Mike Keenan. What a mean jerk face.

Montreal Canadiens: As noted on other sites, the Habs are INDEED going to make a trade one day. Whether you like it or not. Then again other sites are for fags, but its not like theres anything wrong with that....

New Jersey Devils: Brodeur is going in a blockbuster deal for Joe Thorton, trust us.

New York Islanders: A hot female reporter that is close to the sitiation, because shes got a hot ass, gets inside stuff for us. Mike Milbury has no penis. Also, he is going to trade a player or two this year.

New York Rangers: Poti, Carter, Dunham, Lindros, Lundmark, Poti again, and Jason Labarbara are all going somewhere. Sather hates these players with a passion. Its well known throughout the league, and on the internet.

Ottawa Senators: Since this team is obviously done, they are gonna start to deal off all major players in a fire sale. All except Karel Rachunek, as they plan to build the entire team aound him, and likely Craig Rivet when they aquire him from the Habs for a 30 goal scorer like Alfredsson or something. THEN, in the major move they will look to land star defenseman Bob Boughner. "Gotta build a team from the defense out", is what a person -who cleans toilets, in what ever the name of Ottawas arena is now called- said.

Philadelphia Flyers: No trades at all. Although Bobby Clarke hasnt returned our phone calls at the time of this article being posted, it is said that Bobby Clarke will never make another deal again, for as long as he is the GM. EVER!

Pittsburgh Penguins: Martin Straka is gonna take a pay cut proving all other asshole sites on the internet WRONG! Straka stays put and LIKES IT!

Tampa Bay Lightning: Of course everyone knows that the Lightning are thinking about trading Khabibulin. All good teams with solid goal tending think about dealing the backbone of their team. Our league official that knows a GM who knows Tampas GM says he isnt sure where he may land.

Toronto Maple Leafs: We dont know shit about Toronto, except that people up there think they know everything. Even though we love everybody, a big fuck you goes out to Toronto and all the other ass clowns in Canada who think the game is all about Canadian heritage, and that we should still be kissing their asses for the sport, even though most of their NHL squads cant hack it in the league. Bitches. We do care though. More on this situation some other day... EVEN THOUGH WE ARE JOKING. SORRY CANADA, Its not my fault you guys cant get over yourselves, and dont have a sense of humor

Washington Capitals: Well as we all know the Caps just want Jagr out of there. Since he IS coming to NY for Anson Carter, they will then also trade Kolzig. So with Brian Leetch back after being out for 61 years, the Rangers absolutely DO NOT need Tom Poti. "Leetch is so damn amazing that the Rangers really dont need anyone on the blueline" says a person familar with the situation. "Poti isnt Chris Pronger, so he is useless". "Cant wait for Jake Taylor to come in and dominate the league, they say hes good".



Where is Poti going? DUH? Atlanta........... Hello? Its well known that Atlanta has strong interest in Poti, because they .... uhhhh, they need a center. Wait no, they need..... hmmm, yeah they DO need a center. Well Atlanta also has interest in Anson Carter. But as reporter months ago, he is set to go to Washington for Jagr AND hes a winger. Any day now that Jagr deal should happen. Its not like we lie. Come on we have sources.....

So uhhh Poti is definately on the outs. Atlanta is willing to send. ummmmmmm, uhhhhhhhhh, hmmmmmmm, something good for Poti. What they have that is good and in Sathers interest is not exactly known right now but we KNOW Sather is upset with Poti, just like hes upset with Lindros.

As we all know, the New York Rangers and the Edmonton Oilers have made MANY trades over the years. Well, with the Rangers losing their first two games, it is a well known fact that the two franchises will make yet another deal. With the Rangers ONLY having high priced centers, Eric Lindros, Petr Nedved, Bobby Holik, and Mark Messier, they desperately need another top line center. Especially after this dreadful 0 and 2 start.

Enter Mike Comrie



Mike Comrie is a smallish talented center who is holding out with the Edmonton Oilers. Seems that the team cant give Comrie what he wants, AND theres a lil bit of bad blood between him and the fans. So OF COURSE the Rangers are interested. Despite the fact that the Rangers dont have room for another center, and the other fact that just about anyone the Rangers would be willing to trade will be waaay over the Oilers allowance as far as pay goes., the Rangers are having serious talks about aquiring the young sharp passing, sharp shooting little man.

With Comrie being the Oilers top center, one would think that the Oilers would be looking for a center in return.... NOT the case at all. We have learned that they want 4th liners, and over priced D-men. Matt Barnaby, along with Darius Kasparaitis is along the lines of what they are looking for. What team isnt just dying for players like this. The Rangers have no need for a guy like Barnaby anyway. We could care less if hes a great team player, and is buddies with Eric Lindros. He doesnt score 30 goals a year. Kasparaitis? The Rangers dont need yet ANOTHER hard hitting D-man that can aggitate with the best of them. They have the multi talented Vladimir Malakhov who can do everything you could ever ask for from a D-man. Thats ALL they need.

Now the Rangers arent the only team looking to aquire the midgets talents... Western Conference rival Detroit is looking to get him as well. We are sure they can offer up a mean exciting package of Mathieu Dandenault and Darren McCarty to satisfy the Oilers. Why in the world would anyone think that the Oilers need some kind of help at the center position after they deal Comrie? Has anyone seen tha massive amount of talent they have up the middle? With names like Shawn Horcoff, Marty Reasoner, Jarret Stoll, and wingers like Mike York and Ales Hemsky possibly moving to the center slot, the Oilers obviously DO NOT need a top line center in return for Comrie.

As usual the Rangers are the front runners and are most likely to land Mike Comrie.

With the waiver draft approaching at the end of this week, Rangers GM Glenn Sather has some decisions to make about who he must put on his protected list. There's a bunch of questionable players that he has to choose from.

Theres the energenic Ronald Petrovicky, who is just a - in the +/- column waiting to happen. This guy takes dumb penalty after dumb penalty, and despite playing on two of the teams top lines last year he managed an awesome 5 goals, and 9 assists, while playing with the likes of Nedved, Holik and Messier. I think he should stay.....

Then there's Dan LaCouture. A solid defensive fourth liner, who can pop in the occasional goal, and will drop the gloves if need be. Possibly could slide through untaken, but we wouldn't risk it. I mean with guys like Garth Murray, and Dominic Moore chomping at the bit to get into the NHL, there is NO way you can lose a guy like this in the waiver draft, and expect one of these rookies to come in and play on the 4th line. NO WAY! He has GOT to stay.

With Matthew Barnaby being such a team player and a big surprise to the line-up LAST year, many seem to think HE is the one Sather would pick to leave unprotected. He loves NY, and seems to be buddies with team centerpiece Eric Lindros. OF COURSE HE'S GOIN!!!! While playing all over the line-up last year Mat only finished with 14goals and 22 assists, with a measly +9 rating. And this guy is competing with Petro? Pfffft we think not. See ya Matthew. We can find some OTHER player who wants to be here, and can play on just about any line on THIS here team in NY.

Of course there's Dale Purinton too. This guy just keeps on improving EVERY year. Lets let him go! After all the Rangers just have an abundance of tough stay at home d-men, don't they..... He's not fast enough nor does he score enough to play here in NY. We don't care if he's a big part of the locker room, and how everyone likes him. Petro is waay more important.

There's also the slightly overpaid Darius Kasparaitis. Yeah, yeah, he has come back and is now the player we all thought we were getting when the Rangers signed him last year. Blah, blah, he is hitting like crazy in camp... Wah, wah, wah. There's a CHANCE he doesn't get picked up by anyone. Its not like Dallas or Detroit, or NJ, or Toronto, or Tampa, or half the frikken league can afford him... right? Ahh he can pass through

Some have mentioned Vladimir Malakhov. These people that mention him are obviously insane. After all he's done for the Rangers since signing that long term high priced contract a few years ago? We want to know where these peoples loyalties are. He means so much to the Rangers offense AND defense. He just does SO MUCH!!!!! With Leetch being out for a while, Vladdy is needed sooooooooooooooooo much, because of what he does on both sides of the puck. Never mind that jargon about him ALWAYS being hurt especially around the time of trade rumors and trade deadlines. Never mind that crapolla about him not showing up 3/4 of the time. Who CARES if he looked like a totally different player, when he kicked total ass in the Olympics for team Russia, only to come back and play like he did before the Olympics on the Rangers (what some may call SHIT). He's too valuable. This guy is all heart. Its not like he's the guy who got caught skiing (by his then team the Canadiens), when he was supposed to be sidelined for the year with some major injury. Who was that anyway?

So, the obvious choice to let go are Barnaby, Purinton or Kasparaitis. A guy the Rangers picked up off of waivers last year, Ronald Petrovicky is WAAAAY more important to this Rangers team than any of these guys we mention above.

Well, its quiet out there. Too quiet. You know what that means? Thats right! BIG MOVES! Man-o-man. With Brian Leetch being out till 2020, the Rangers are ready to give the top slot to John Jakopin. Jakopin is a journeyman d-man who hasnt done squat in the NHL. He is big though.......

Tom Poti is still on the hot seat as reported not too long ago by our own Tito Santana. Poti's good offensive numbers from last year are the demise of Tom "poke check" Poti (cute lil name designated to Mr Poti by many Ranger fans). Also the fact that Poti is allergic to many foods is another reason why Sather is upset with the 26 year old allstar offensive D-man, who was in the tops of the NHL for scoring for defensemen last season. With Poti gone, this gives Rangers prospect Fedor Tjutin the job he definately deserves. I mean Hockeysfuture says hes good, so he should be able to slide right in over any Ranger prospect. Right? Hockeysfuture is the best, and they know their stuff. Just like how they didnt know jack about Bryce Lampman over the years. Oh, wait thats bad isnt it? Well atleast they give Jake Taylor a good review. Hes gonna be great!!!!!!! Again, those guys are great over there. They dont have old scouting reports or ANY made up crap at all. Its been reported that Anson Carter is in good spirits so far in camp. Playing pretty well on a line with Eric Lindros and Martin Rucinsky is a good sign of things to come. Whats to come? Jaromir Jagr of course. Carter only scored 5 points in the last 11 games of the year after being dealt to the Rangers. This isnt good, and this means he will play badly this coming year. Dont worry Ranger fans. This is GOOD news. Remember who the Washington Capitals wanted for Jagr? Well come on! Everybody knows they wanted Anson Carter!!!!! EVERYBODY. Anson will pay for not carrying this team last year, while we can praise the excellent no show by Alex Kovalev. I just dont think Carter can play in this conference, no matter how good he was when he was on Boston a few years ago. Add on that he is having an absolutely brutal camp (right?), and its obvious he has to go. Him playing a power type of game cant help the Rangers anyway. Not one bit. Hooray for Jagr! Hes as good as ours! Nothing against Carter, because I dont have any problem with him at all. I just dont like him, and dont think hes anywhere near the player Ryan Smyth is (despite the amazingly close #'s), and I'd trade him in a second for Calgary Flames future HOFer defenseman Denis Gauthier. BTW I just got my new Bob Bougner fan club shirts in the mail today. Want one gimme an E-mail. White power!!!!!!

Well one of our Canadien sources tell us that Brian Leetch will be out of the Rangers line-up until the year 2005. Since everyone in the Rangers organization seems to think that he will only miss one or two pre-season games, and have said so over and over again we are forced to beleive our Canadian source instead, since people from Canada know EVERYTHING....

With Leetch on the shelf until 2008, our high flying writer Tito has come up with some hot HOT HOT rumors from his sources around the world... Heres some good inside stuff from the one they call "El Matador".


An inside source has told me that Brian Leetch will be out until the 2010 season. With this being the case, this gives Ranger GM Glenn Sather the chance to move players like Tom Poti and Eric Lindros. Its very well known that Sather is VERY disapointed in Potis play from last year. Poti being one of the top offensive D-men in the league in the 02/03 season has not set well with Sather. Also on the way out is Dan Blackburn. Why? Because. Just listen. Jean-Sebastien Giguere is unsigned. This young goalie had a great year last year and is obviously better than Blackburn. Since Blackburn is now hurt with a pinched nerve in his shoulder (may be out a couple of weeks), there arent any young goalies that can be in Hartford OR be the back-up in NY. Simply cant have that. Ranger fans demand it. So The Rangers are going to trade tom Poti and Dan Blackburn for Giguere, then turn around and trade Dunham to Colorado, who in turn trade him to Philly, who then turn around and deal him to Calgary. This IS NOT some made up rumor, it is legit. Its right here on the internet, and I have sources that I cant reveal.

Ducks get Poti and Blackburn

Rangers trade Dunham to Colorado for Skoula (to make deVries comfortable), and Hinote (Rangers lost McCarthy and ONLY added Simon, they need MORE toughness, since McCarthy had a billion fights last year)

Avs trade Dunham to Philly for Hacket and draft picks (Avs will stock up for post CBA)

Philly trades Dunham to Flames for Iginla (Calgary NEEDS goaltending to compete!!!!!!!!!!!)

THEN the Rangers will trade Lindros for a capable back-up for Giguere. My source says the Rangers would love to land Trevor Kidd as a fair return. "Lindros didnt do crap last year, I want him gone, I dont care if they trade him for that piece of shit no talent goalie Trevor Kidd." Is what my source said. "Thank god Messier is back, otherwise there would be no reason to watch the Rangers!!!" "They dont have ANY talent on that team besides Messier and Leetch." "Get Lindros, Dunham, and Poti outta here." You see the Ducks in the cup finals last year? Get me their goalie, Gigorian or what ever his name is. HES good, not this Dunham guy."
